Peach Flavored Simple Syrup

I recently posted a recipe for Simple Fruit Cobbler. I’m sure enjoying coming up with fun ways to use my peaches.

We drink a lot of iced tea around here, so I thought it would be fun to make a Peach Syrup for a flavorful twist.

Simple syrups usually consist of water and sugar. The idea is that the sugar is boiled in the water in order to reduce the graininess of the sugar in your favorite beverage. They can have varying degrees of thickness based on the ratio of water to sugar. I went with a medium thickness here as I don’t prefer things to be too sweet. As usual, I will give you some options in the recipe.
