Java Whipped Cream

You guys, I just made a brilliant discovery!

(Unless, of course, this idea is all the rage on the internet and I have just now discovered it for myself. In which case, I haven’t actually discovered anything, but let me have my moment of glory, would ya?)

Anyhoo, because I am out of both real coffee and my preferred half and half in which I add to my real coffee, I am now officially in survival mode when it comes to my addiction love of all things java.

One-Bowl {Healthier} Chocolate Cupcakes

As you probably already know, I love one-bowl baking recipes. Less mess means more time for eating cupcakes!

I also love a healthier dessert. Again, more cupcakes!

I make these with pumpkin, squash, or applesauce, depending on what I have on hand. These additions add moisture and some health benefits like vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber.

The Best Buttery, Caramel-ly Pancake Sauce EVER!

A few years ago, I came across this recipe – Tasty Kitchen’s Liquid Gold (Pancake Syrup). You can click on the red text to read the original recipe.

I’ve adapted the original several times over the years until I have, in my opinion, perfected this recipe.

We enjoy this on our pancakes, waffles, scones, cakes, and muffins. It is also delicious on ice cream, popcorn, and in our morning oatmeal. We like dipping apple slices into it for a sweet snack.
