The Best Buttery, Caramel-ly Pancake Sauce EVER!

A few years ago, I came across this recipe – Tasty Kitchen’s Liquid Gold (Pancake Syrup). You can click on the red text to read the original recipe.

I’ve adapted the original several times over the years until I have, in my opinion, perfected this recipe.

We enjoy this on our pancakes, waffles, scones, cakes, and muffins. It is also delicious on ice cream, popcorn, and in our morning oatmeal. We like dipping apple slices into it for a sweet snack.

Cinnamon Skillet Apples

Not that I ever feel guilty about eating an apple pie, but I don’t always want to take the time to make a crust. I’m kinda lazy that way.

Unless you have a countertop convection oven, you don’t want to be heating up your kitchen in the summer by baking a pie. If you missed my post on baking in the summer without heating up the kitchen, you can read that here.
