“Prayer is not something we do for the work of God – prayer IS the work of God.”       ~Charles Price

Every Sunday my Pastor asks, “How may I pray for you today?” I find such comfort in those words, and so I ask you, “How may I pray for you today?”

If you need prayer, please fill out the form below. You can be very vague with little or no detail, or you can write me a heartfelt letter. I promise that only my eyes will see it. If your prayer request is not private, and you would like my readers to pray with me, please state that in your request.

I’m not sure how this will work, exactly. I just know that the Lord has put it on my heart to ask.

Please know that you will be prayed for faithfully and confidentially (if that is your preference).

There is something very beautiful knowing that the body of Christ is praying with and for one another.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” ~James 5:16 (NIV)

normally i pray for others, and ask nothing for myself, but when you say things like above, i know that you are serious and i know that you truly care for people so i do have a prayer i need. i have now quit smoking for two and a half weeks, but i have been trying for over two months. during that time, i have put on over twenty pounds and it has become a great burden on my body. i have been trying to get rid of some poundage to ease the pain it has caused me. you know me, and vegetables are not my friends, but i bought a ninja blender and learned how to make smoothies with fresh spinach in them. i don’t know what i should be putting in them for sure, so i have been using bananas, strawberries, flax, walnuts or other nuts and fresh spinach. i sure could use some prayer that this weight starts vanishing soon. thank you my friend. God bless <3

You can know that I will be praying faithfully for you, and I pray that my readers will do the same. I am very proud of you, Sister! I cannot imagine how difficult this is for you – not just to give up the cigs, but to deal with the weight gain as well. Remember Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.” I’m here for you, so please let me know what you need. Keep up the good work and keep your eyes on the prize!
